The subject of the article entitled ‘‘Portrait of the end of an epoch in Ladislav Fuks’ novel Vévodkyně a kuchařka” is the reflection on the last work of the novelist published in 1983. W trakcie XIX-wiecznych kasat klasztorów na obszarze cesarstwa rosyjskiego względy ekonomiczne stanowił istotny, może najważniejszy, ale niejedyny czynnik, uwzględniany przy podejmowaniu decyzji o zniesieniu domu zakonnego. Oficjalnie władze rosyjskie głosiły, że cały majątek klasztorny miał być wykorzystany na utrzymanie szkół oraz instytucji opiekuńczych i charytatywnych. W rzeczywistości przejęte ziemskie dobra klasztorne zasiliły skarb publiczny, a mienie z różnych powodów niezbywalne powiększyło majątek, pozostający w dyspozycji władz gubernialnych oraz Cerkwi prawosławnej. These groups achieved significant relevance in Galicia, especially in the city of Compostela, which, year after year, encouraged and supported the formation of groups of this nature to liven up the carnivals in the different Spanish cities. The article presents Ricarda Huchs attitude towards the dictatorship of natio- nal socialism in Germany, from which the writer officially disbanded herself in 1933 by resigning from the membership of the Prussian Academy of Fine Arts and concluding at the same time that the Germanness in her opinion does not mean centralization of power, brutal methods and diffusion of people who think differently. El panorama de la recepción italiana contemporánea de los poetas españoles del siglo XIX, a través de las traducciones, no resulta especialmente satisfactorio, puesto que hay que esperar el siglo siguiente para encontrar los primeros estudios monográficos y ediciones de textos en traducción, aunque en forma antológica.
